Biography
The author studied biology and dentistry at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and the Julius-Maximillian University in Würzburg, Germany. They have owned a dental clinic in Oberhausen, Germany since 1998, providing preventive dentistry, periodontology, and sports dentistry services. They also provide medical support for professional athletes and sporting events in various sports. They are certified team dentists of the International Academy of Sports Dental (IASD) and the German Society for Sports Dentistry (DGSZM). They have been involved in various organizations, including the Intrasmile Ltd. Group of Companies, EA4SD, and VitaSports IZNS. Since March 2023, they have been the German Dental Society’s Guideline representative at the DGZMK. They focus on performance reducing factors, Pre-Participation Screening, and trauma prevention.
